Privacy policy

This policy covers Inbox Clear for iPhone/iPad and this website. The app is in pre-release testing. Production advertising and purchases are not yet enabled; the advertising section explains the integrated SDK and intended release configuration, including data that test ads may process.

Account access and purpose

With your authorization, Inbox Clear accesses account identifiers, email addresses and message headers (sender, subject, date and labels) to show your accounts and help you review mail. Message text is requested when you open a message. Gmail search and reading use read access; confirmed archive, Trash, read-status and recovery operations use modify access. Outlook personal accounts currently have reading support only. The app does not send replies or permanently delete mail.

Where email data goes

Mailbox requests travel directly between the device and Google Gmail or Microsoft Graph over HTTPS. We do not operate a server that receives or stores your mailbox. We do not send email data to an AI service, sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with the advertising SDK. Remote images in the reader are not loaded.

Local storage and retention

Account credentials and authorization sessions are protected in the iOS Keychain. Message previews are held in app memory; message bodies are not intentionally persisted by the app. Local account-specific databases retain action identifiers, dates, states, recovery records and cleaning counters. Saved operation plans may contain message identifiers. These records persist to support activity and recovery until removed through available app controls or app-data removal. Device backups may retain app data according to your Apple settings. Keychain items may survive uninstalling: disconnect accounts and revoke provider access rather than assuming uninstall revokes authorization.

Google API Limited Use

Inbox Clear’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Restricted email data is used only to provide user-facing email management. It is not used to train generalized AI models or for advertising, and is not provided to advertisers. We do not access your mailbox on our servers or manually read it.

Advertising and consent

Google AdMob and the User Messaging Platform (UMP) are integrated. Requests are configured for non-personalized advertising; this does not mean no data collection. Google may process IP address and approximate location, device or app identifiers, ad interactions, diagnostic/performance data and consent choices for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and compliance. Email content, account addresses and mailbox activity records are not included in ad requests by Inbox Clear. Read Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses partner data. Where required, consent or opt-out choices must be obtained before eligible ad requests. When production is enabled, Settings will provide the applicable privacy choices. Buying Remove Ads stops app ad requests after a valid entitlement is recognized.

Purchases

Apple processes the optional one-time purchase and refunds. Inbox Clear checks product and transaction/entitlement information using StoreKit to remove ads and restore a purchase. We do not receive payment-card information. Apple’s own terms and privacy policy apply.

Website and support

This static website has no contact form, advertising, analytics script or tracking cookies added by us. Hostinger may process IP address, request information and server logs to deliver and secure the site under its own retention practices. If you contact support by email, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to answer and resolve your request. Avoid sending mailbox content. Support correspondence is retained only as needed for support and applicable legal obligations; request deletion using the contact above.

Your choices and rights

You can disconnect accounts, revoke Google/Microsoft authorization, manage device data and backups, and use applicable ad privacy options. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection concerning personal information we hold, or complain to your data-protection authority. Contact us without sharing credentials. Mail retained by Google/Microsoft, Apple transactions and Google ad data are also governed by those providers’ controls. International processing may occur through these providers under their policies.

Children and changes

Inbox Clear is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s information through support. Contact us if you believe a child provided information. Changes will be reflected here with an updated date; material new data uses require appropriate notice and consent where applicable.
